Organised through the BIG Alliance, a team of volunteers from the City of London Corporation helped to rebuild a path between our orchard and the vegetable garden.

Volunteers have removed the remnants of our previous turf and the top few inches of soil including plastic mesh from the turf. We will add leaf mould, manure and compost and sow a seed mix designed as shade, drought and foot traffic tolerant. Our new lawn will emerge in the spring.

Thank you to the BIG Alliance for organising a volunteer group from Sage Publishing. They harvested fruit and moved great quantities of donated bark chippings to our woodland paths.  

Huge thank you to The BIG Alliance for the team of volunteers from NHS Property Services who came along to help. Our garden house had a good clean and wood treatment.
