We are very pleased to have been awarded a grant of £4,000 towards Olden Community Garden core activities. This grant will help pay the fees of our part-time professional gardeners who lead our volunteers and advise our trustees. Islington Council’s Community Chest is funded by Islington Council, in partnership with Cripplegate Foundation.

Our professional gardener will lead our festive wreath-making event at Olden Garden on Saturday 29 November, 10am-1pm. Foliage and other materials and festive refreshments will be provided. Spaces are limited – please email oldengarden1@gmail.com to book your place. £20 per participant/family.

Our volunteers removed the protective lawn netting, cleared away the leaves, and put up green plastic ‘fencing’ around the new lawn.
