Another 30 wooden sleepers delivered, to complete the terracing repairs project and remedy the landslip caused by disintegration of the old sleepers.

We are very pleased to have been awarded a grant of £5,000 towards Olden Community Garden core activities. This grant will help pay the fees of our part-time professional gardeners who lead our volunteers and advise our trustees. Islington Council’s Community Chest is funded by Islington Council, in partnership with Cripplegate Foundation.

Thank you to the BIG Alliance for arranging a gardening day for a team of 10 volunteers from MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group). With their enthusiasm we made good progress with our Raised Vegetable Beds Repairs project funded by a National Garden Scheme Community Garden Grant.
