Following completion of our Woodland Biodiversity Planting project, we installed a new woodland table with a view of the newly planted areas.

Over 50 volunteers helped to deliver our project funded by a grant from Islington Giving’s Make It Happen Fund. We prepared the ground, clearing away ivy, cutting logs from fallen tree trunks, digging in lots of new compost, spreading donated woodchip. We planted over 200 new shrubs, herbaceous perennials and ground cover in the area around the woodland table.

At the Music Festival we celebrated the 40^th anniversary of Olden Community Garden. The Mayor of Islington, Cllr Rosaline Ogunro, met local residents, including Pat Tawn whose vision and efforts led to the creation of the community garden in 1986.
