Everyone welcome – join us for family activities and Open Garden on Saturday 19th August

Like a butterfly!

Come along for our family activity. We will try butterfly spotting! Butterfly Conservation spotting sheets will help you identify the butterflies and day-flying moths.
Everyone is welcome to join in, any time 10am – 4pm.
Volunteer gardening tasks will be available.
Or visit for Open Garden and walk in the woodland – tea and biscuits provided

A Magic Little Grant!

We are very pleased to receive a grant from Local Giving’s Magic Little Grants to create a wildlife pond. The pond will promote sustainability and encourage species diversity, using harvested water, with plants that clean and filter it. Join our volunteers on Tuesdays, to help create the pond.

Local Giving is the UK’s leading membership and support network for local charities and community groups. Please support Olden Garden by donating on our Local Giving page to help fund our meadow regeneration and biodiversity project. Local Giving collects Gift Aid on your donation and transfers it to us.

Over 500 visitors came to our Chelsea Fringe music festival

A huge thank you to all who came! And a special thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who made cakes and helped on the day, ensuring our Chelsea Fringe music festival was a great success! Music groups played in the woodland and on the lawn. The Mayor of Islington Cllr Gary Heather and the Mayoress Cllr Tricia Clarke enjoyed a tour of Olden Garden and met many of our visiting families and children.
